Eligibility & How to apply
Candidate Requirements
- Current Students: Must be in Grade 12 (Upper Sixth).
- Recent Graduates: Must have obtained GCE A-Levels or Baccalaureate from 2020-2025.
- Max Age: 25 years.
Application paths:
- Independent: Register yourself and choose a home-proctored exam or a local center.School Batch: Principals can register their entire graduating class for a communal testing experience.
- Fee: Registration is 100% Free for all eligible candidates.
Competition Structure
- Assessment Framework (Unified Test)
- Mathematics (Grade 10 OSSD-aligned): Testing logic, algebra, and problem-solving.
- English Language (Grade 12 OSSD-aligned): Testing critical reading, grammar, and persuasive writing.
Hybrid Integrity Measures
Our secure online platform uses timed sessions, shuffled questions, and digital proctoring. Exams can be taken from Home (with stable internet) or at a GlobalEd Approved Centers for supervised security.
Structure
GFLAC 2026 is designed as a rigorous two-tier elite selection process to ensure that only the most exceptional talents represent their regions at the national level.
Stage 1: Regional Pre-selections (The Top 1000)
- Scope: Conducted simultaneously across all 10 Regions of Cameroon.
- Format: Online proctored examinations in Mathematics and English.
- The Cut: From thousands of applicants, only the Top 10 candidates from each region will qualify for the next stage.
Stage 2: The Grand National Final (The Elite 100)
- The Cohort: The 100 best-performing students in the country (10 from each region) will converge for the final decisive assessment.
- Format: Advanced analytical testing and leadership interviews.
- The Stakes: This final stage determines the ranking for the 70% funding packages and the international scholarship allocations.
Grand Award Ceremony
- The Venue: Yaoundé, Cameroon.
- The Occasion: The GFLAC winners will be officially crowned during the GlobalEd International Admission and Funding Conference.
- The Experience: Winners will receive their awards on a global stage in front of Ministry of Education officials, Admissions Directors from Canadian and European Universities International Funding and Scholarship providers, The National Press.
